Hi,
This was already reported:
https://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/bug-lilypond/2011-08/msg00126.html
https://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/bug-lilypond/2011-08/msg00127.html
But this does not appear with "official" version of LilyPond, so the
issue is more likely in Arch's packaging, probably a different version
of Ghostscript or FontForge (more recent) than the one used in official
LilyPond package.
There is a "preventive" bug report to check/fix the possible
incompatibility with Ghostscript 9:
http://code.google.com/p/lilypond/issues/detail?id=1717
and there are currently some plans to upgrade the version of FontForge
used in "official" LilyPond:
http://code.google.com/p/lilypond/issues/detail?id=1637
http://code.google.com/p/lilypond/issues/detail?id=1964
So if an issue pops up due to one of these it will be fixed when
LilyPond will use them.
Cheers,
Xavier
