I don't understand a word of what you are writing, and I am rather
familiar with the workings of \accidentalStyle. So I don't think a user
stands much of a chance feeling more enlightened after reading this
paragraph than without it.
You might want to write in a less abstract manner and possibly create an
actual example illustrating what you want to see documented.
