http://code.google.com/p/lilypond/issues/detail?id=2158Incidentally, running make -j9 CPU_COUNT=9 LANGS='' doc on my system, when there are no changed docs now takes just under 5 seconds. For anyone with a reasonably quick system, this makes running make LANGS='' doc a sensible way to check documentation changes.
