for single staff-systems:
systems-per-page 1,2 --> ok; 3 --> fails; 4 --> ok; 5 -->fails
for double staff systems ( { << {\music} {\music} >> } instead of { \music })
processing fails for any value >1
(mac osx 10.7.2)
