Comment #10 on issue 451 by address@hidden: Enhancement: a more flexible
\parallelMusic syntax when used with \relative
http://code.google.com/p/lilypond/issues/detail?id=451
Pushed as 90a81cf6d5baeee506e4314e969659a56f1f16da to staging.
This is likely not exactly what was asked in the issue. However, between
the advice in the NR:
Relative mode may be used. Note that the `\relative' command is not
used inside `\parallelMusic' itself. The notes are relative to the
preceding note in the voice, not to the previous note in the input - in
other words, relative notes for `voiceA' ignore the notes in `voiceB'.
and the possibility now for using
\parallelMusic #'(a b c) \relative c' ...
with \relative running through in _one_ sequence, I don't see any breathing
room for this issue to remain open.
This patch is not likely the desired fix, but it is the last conceivable
coffin nail remaining open. So I am marking it as "fixed", even though one
could consider it "invalid" because of more important preexisting (and by
now explicitly documented) possibilities for addressing the original
concern.
