http://code.google.com/p/lilypond/issues/detail?id=2387 Looks very convenient!I'm not sure what people commonly put in their global={...} but I fairly often also have things like
s1*12 \time 3/4 s2.*15 \tempo "Allegretto" ...which obviously does not fit into the proposed feature. However, that's just a matter of presenting the feature in a suitable way in the documentation.
