short answer: it probably won't be.  Not because of any fault of yours;  
just because GUB is highly temperamental.  I recommend going ahead with  
lilydev if it works for lilypond, and simply expect to update lilydev in a  
month or two after people have worked out what needs to change in order for  
GUB to work on it.
