I was advised by somebody to put my script to input/regression.   
Unfortunately, it was before my vacation, and I cannot find that e-mail  
right now.  My original intention was to put this code on LSR, but LSR  
refuses to take it.  I believe LSR still uses Lilypond 2.12.2, which has no  
scheme engraver support.  I agree that it would be better to put my script  
elsewhere.  I'll try to make it a part of the documentation.  I realize  
that it should be more than a snippet.  It should illustrate extending  
Lilypond.  So I won't happen overnight.

I know that upgrading LSR was discussed.  Not having scheme engraver  
support in LSR excludes a whole class of snippets.  I would have put my  
code on LSR and stopped bothering everybody.  So please consider this  
comment as another vote for LSR upgrade.
