Good, I'm pleased to hear that worked for you.

I can't claim any expertise here at all. I simplified your sample to
better understand it and then thought the output looked ok.

Let us know what you find. If there is a bug, by all means send your
report to bug-lilypond, but if you're just reporting how Lilypond met
your needs then lilypond-user would be best.
