Thanks for the suggestions and repro effort.

The original printing (and viewing) was from Adobe Acrobat (pro) 9.
Lilypond "\version 2.12" (I think), Windows. I just used Sumatra pdf
viewer, and it looks a good deal different. I printed, and the first one
looks like in Adobe, but the second system looks perfect. The barlines look
perfect on the *first* system in sumatra, and the second system looks about
like adobe... The staff lines look inconsistent in Sumatra (some thin here
and there). Basically, Sumatra is inconsistent, sometimes right and
sometimes wrong, and Adobe is consistently wrong (except staff lines;
exquisite).

When the flanges glitch, the flanges are a little right of the thick
vertical bar.

Well, I'm willing to say that Lilypond is doing his job! Thanks again.
