this example in the repository doesn't display the barre symbol as depicted in
the sample output, only the score.:
Bar chords notation for Guitar ( with Text Spanner) [0.14286]
It also produces these two warnings:
warning: cannot find start of text spanner
warning: unterminated text spanner
