Thanks for your reply. I had found that other discussion already, but
unfortunately can't really make head nor tail of it. I had hoped that
someone else using LilyPond on Windows would have compiled simple
step-by-step instructions for getting point and click to work.
Your editor suggestion is received with thanks. At this stage I'm still
using whatever the default editor is, but I'm sure I'd like to try a better
one at some point in the future.
