Ok, I've tried doing a reasonable collection of what should go
into 2.18.1. This does not contain significant documentation patches:
the translation team would have no realistic chance to have a go at them
_if_ we happen to release 2.18.1 this weekend.

TBH this is a bigger list of patches than I expected,

Anything you would consider unfitting here?

Oh no - I'd just had in my mind that 18.1 would be somewhat minimal.

but if you can cherry pick them into 2.18

Oh, they are cherry-picked already. I just did not push them to
release/stable/2.18 before we are agreed.

I'd be happy to roll the release with these added.

It's probably sanest to wait until at least Monday. And I'd recommend
starting with a test and doc build before going for the full GUB.

If you can push the changes to stable/2.18 I'll do a full build and doc build as soon as possible after you give the green light. I'll see how the time is then.
