Then I’d like if we don’t take that obstacle for granted. Why don’t we have an event? I can imagine the reason: because the clef or bar line isn’t actually a musical event, but only an element of visualisation… as for the clef also because it mainly changes some context properties… But either we be so pragmatic and make them be Events nevertheless (maybe such as aren’t carried into Midi, or are they?), or we need to ask: why does it need an event for point-and-click?
