Apart from that: the only time when I encounter Mac binaries that are still

This isn't just a technical problem but one where Apple's own
licensing/GPL (as far as I understand it) prevents us from being able to
do this.
There have been many discussions on this topic on the developer message
board.

(and all relevant threads from it).
It can be made to work I believe just we cannot do it legally.
I am sure someone will tell me I am wrong.
