Yes, I wrote articulate.ly thinking mostly of Clarinet music ... so we could win the Artemis Orchestra Challenge for mechanical instrument ... that it happened to be useful for other things is more of a happy accident than anything else. Ideally it'd be integrated into Lilypond's MIDI generator, instead of being the hack that it is. Peter C
