I don't recognize "dxamake", although the version looks like a GNU make
version; are you sure this is GNU make?  If it's a variant of GNU make
provided by some other party you should contact them, since the behavior
might be different than the standard version.

If you're using GNU make on a Windows box you might also try the
address@hidden mailing list.
