make 3.80 on Ultrix 4.3

Hallo,

I've problems compiling 3.80 on Ultrix 4.3. Compiler is gcc 2.5.3
3.80 built well on Dec OSF 1 3.2C, AIX 4.1.5 and HP-UX 10.20 using the same 
compiler.
If you need further information please let me know
