                 Summary: Several inaccuracies/miswordings/typos in (texinfo)
                 Project: make
            Submitted by: peb

                Severity: 3 - Normal
              Item Group: Documentation
                  Status: None
                 Privacy: Public
             Assigned to: None
             Open/Closed: Open
         Discussion Lock: Any
       Component Version: 3.81
        Operating System: Any
           Fixed Release: None

When I recently read the `make' (V 3.81) texinfo manual I noticed a few

3.5 The Variable `MAKEFILE_LIST'

Examples use `lastword' but footnote refers to `word' and `words'

3.9 How `make' Reads a Makefile

Expansion of deferred construct => Expansion of a deferred construct

4.2 Rule Syntax

in the prerequisites lise => in the prerequisites list

4.9 Special Built-in Target Names

Para for `.SUFFIXES' repeated under `.SECONDEXPANSION'

Attached is a small patch correcting all these.
