Hi all,

I posted yesterday a bug report in GNU automake mailing list, and I've
been forwarded to this mailing list to report it, as it seems to be a
bug/limitation of GNU make.

Here's the thread in the GNU automake mailing list, explaining the problem:
http://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/bug-automake/2008-11/msg00022.html

I was told that compilation error when having a double slash in the
source paths is a known & undocumented limitation of GNU make.

I did a fast search in the GNU make manual and didn't see anything
related to this kind of problem.

Any hint? It's not critical at all, but may be annoying.

Cheers,
-Aleksander
