tinyos-1.x make

Good evening,
Here, following this tutorial  http://www.5secondfuse.com/tinyos/install.html , I've got to start the tinyviz and I work with normally. But, I just some clarification to ask if you want of course:
  To step Java Serial Communications for TinyOS 1.x, arriving to sudo make install I get these messages

address@hidden:/opt/tinyos-1.x/beta/TOSComm/comm# sudo make install
install -d /../tools/java/net/tinyos/comm
install *.class build_linux/*.class /../tools/java/net/tinyos/comm
install: cannot stat `*.class': No such file or directory
install: cannot stat `build_linux/*.class': No such file or directory
make: *** [install] Error 1

I do not know how but files.java not compile files.class, when you can just do a make
  eg the directory / opt/tinyos-1.x/java/net/tinyos/sim attached to the file makeSim.trace

That is what I would like to understand why some java files are compiled into class files but not others for example in the directory Comm
