Subject: Make clearing LD_LIBRARY_PATH
I am running GNU Make 3.82 on Linux. I discovered that make is clearing the LD_LIBRARY_PATH environment variable, so that processes run by it don’t inherit this variable from the original environment from which make was run. Why is this?
