NTFS certainly stores that.  It's the field referred to as "real" at eg 
("allocated" is what it says on the tin.  "initialized" would be smaller than 
"real" if it's compressed or sparse.)

Perhaps something that wrote to tape, long enough ago that it's missing all the 
layers of abstraction that Frank rightly mentions.
