I talked to RMS about this and he agreed this was needed. It's on my
todo list.

This one is on my "think about" list.
Plus there are other cleanups needed. And, even after the first
candidate is posted experience tells me it will be several weeks of
testing before the release itself.
I just want people to start paying attention, if they haven't been so
far...
