Reformatted patch to GNU coding standard.

Rebuilt to add a fix to remake.c to call gpath_search correctly for a
VMS path.

OK thanks John. This weekend I'm going to work on getting the series of
patches you provided over the last few weeks committed.

On the archive patch, I forgot to add the new directory and test script to the Makefile.am file.

How do you want me to start packaging up the patches to the test scripts and when do you want me to start? I can add the update to the Makefile.am to one of those.

The next thing I am going to work on is getting the functions/call test to pass on VMS. It is mainly failing due to VMS not handling backslashes at the end of lines properly, but I think I will also need to add some code to convert shell syntax to VMS DCL to avoid reworking the test script as much.

-John
