Bash completions are not provided by the GNU make application, not even
ones for GNU make.  You need to contact the people who maintain the
bash-completions package (I'm assuming you're using some Debian
derivative such as Ubuntu or Mint); their homepage is here:

​Indeed, I am using Mint, but I supposed the issue is general so that's why I got onto make's list.
