It can be supported in the info viewer.  The only downside is a slight 
inconsistency in the interpretation of menus in the Info format, which 
doesn't seem like a problem to me.  Maybe you could ask the Emacs 
developers to apply the fix that was posted by Juri Linkov in that 
discussion?
