Follow-up Comment #1, bug #63688 (project make):
Bruno reported a test failure on aix with env setting
AR="ar -X 64";

This env setting is stored an a perl variable in features/archives and its
value is passes to run_make_test like
make -f work/features/archives.mk AR=ar -X 64
