Status: None => Duplicate

Follow-up Comment #1:
This problem is mentioned every couple of years, e.g. back in July 2014 in bug
report #42667 (9.2: Edwin still not opening files on Windows 7).
Unfortunately none of the active developers seems willing to take up support
for Windows of any ilk, and the Windows development community... expects to be
paid I suppose. :-}
