As I said in my original announcement, it is updated by a cron job that
runs hourly, and should update with no intervention until ncurses 5.8 is
released. At that point, it'll need some manual intervention while I
import the new release tarball, tag the version, etc. I would expect I'd
get to that pretty quickly, but I will not make any promises.
This repository will never be official, but you're welcome to use it.
