You're referring to the remove immediately after the diffstat - right, 
that's an error (from the script that I used to generate the patch).

I noticed that when I sent the email (a manual step...), and since it was 
late, and an attempt to repair the script probably would have led to 
further errors, this seemed a minor issue.

I wrote the script to apply to a series of build-trees, which works well 
enough for a continuous sequence of dates, but has to special-case the 
release which has no date appended to the major.minor version.
