I see. It's probably related to the previous discussion of
the "--disable-tic-depends".
In a quick check here, I see that I've been using the --with-ncurses
option for tack, which hides that problem. You might use that as a
short-term workaround.
As for pulling in libncurses - I've a similar report for vile which is on
my to-do list, and (being reminded here) will probably reuse the
script to fix tack (and tin - offhand I don't recall other programs
that I maintain which use only the terminfo interface).
