Actually (aside from care and feeding), my impression is that the main
development on this was as I noted here (Juergen, Eugene and Nicolas):

My participation in that has been mostly for configure- and makefile stuff.
(There are probably some bug-fixes and tweaks to accommodate traces, etc.)

They should work with either ncurses/ncursesw.  However, the Ada95 binding
doesn't know anything about wide-characters.  I gather that came in with
Ada 2005 - which was not freely available for a few years (perhaps after
2010).

occasionally I make a build-fix when the style-rules are tweaked...

(I did some recently, having upgraded the gnat-gcc from 4.6 to 4.9 after
some packaging jam was fixed in Debian).

But for improving the binding (development), it might be nice to explore
wide-characters with Ada 2005.
