Got it; I didn't know that this behavior was changed in 10.10. So
Terminal.app in 10.10 gets its own terminal entry, let's say:

nsterm-343|Terminal.app in OS X 10.10+,
    use=xterm+app, use=nsterm-256color

But then the big question to me becomes: what about "nsterm"? Should it
alias "nsterm-343" or "nsterm-256color"? Unfortunately Terminal.app only
lets you choose "nsterm" (at least via the UI) and any choice will be
non-optimal for a portion of the users. Personally, I think the most
sensible default would be for "nsterm" to alias to whatever is the most
recent entry of Terminal.app since the great majority of people will
tend to upgrade to it, especially now that OS X can be upgraded for free
and Apple doesn't really support old versions of OS X, anyway. Does it
make sense?
