Do you plan to move acs_map to libncurses? It's currently in libtinfo and
ncurses.h header.
Do you plan to fix it? (Use Requires instead of Requires.private in pkg-config
file)
You would switch back to Requires.private if ever all symbols from ncurses.h
header are in libncurses.

Google will tell you this bug has existed for years. My guess: it's a quick
fix, then nobody bothered to report it. On the mailing list archive, I'm not
the first one, I would be the second one.
