Linux newbie question: copy disk partition table to another disk.

I am using Linux software RAID (on Red Hat) and would like to replace a failed disk drive in my RAID array. Can I use parted to copy the partition table from the "original" (still good) RAID level 1 disk to my new unformatted/unpartitioned replacement disk ?
