Hello Parted People,
Quick Intro: I'm the IPMASQ HOWTO and TrinityOS author for
Linux NAT and Security/Functionality for Linux.
Anyway, A quick question:
- I'd like to be able to basically "dd" a 60% full
10GB disk (one partition) to a 9GB disk once a
night. I could use tar but that's slow and doesn't
get me the boot loader, etc. Obvisouly, your
wonderful parted tool resize the original 10GB
partition and then copy it over but I don't want
to change the original. I know this functionality is
available in tools like Norton Ghost, etc but
I don't want to reboot into DOS.
Any thoughts? I'd appreciate it.
