dot space dot slash, yes. There is no space between LD_LIBRARY_PATH
and =.
The first bit ("LD_LIBRARY_PATH=.") sets an environment variable
to tell the dynamic linker to look in the current directory for
libraries. The second bit ("./parted") just runs Parted ;-)
