Hi Andrew,

I've split off libparted's i18n translations from the parted ones. The
idea is that libparted's i18n stuff can be installed with a version
number, so multiple versions of libparted can be installed at once (very
useful if the soname changes for any reason). A patch against 1.6.0-pre2
is available on http://people.debian.org/~timshel/parted/

There is some redundancy in the patch, since I have duplicated the
disabled (commented) translations in both parted and libparted versions
of the .po files, as I can't be sure which one they belong to, since
there is no filename associated. I can trash all of these if you want,
just let me know ...

Also, could I please request that fdl.texi be included with the main
dist? If any changes have been made, the build fails without it :-( Easy
enough to solve with a download from gnu.org, but it's very annoying.

One thing more, I'm tinkering with stuff to build the filesystems as
modules at the moment. Did you have any ideas on how it is best to do
this? At the moment I'm looking at just adding an _init method to each
filesystem library, which is called automatically when the module is
dlopen()ed, and call ped_file_system_[x]_register () from that, and
building the libraries with the appropriate LDFLAGS (-module,
-avoid-version and -rpath [module path]). Modules will be dlopen()ed in
place of the current init_file_system_types() in libparted/libparted.c.
