Hi

Thanks for your prompt reply. I am away at my office so i really donot know the exact version i had used but in I had downloaded the version which Was mentioned as stable. And one more think is kdedisk utility show two set of records for all partiions.

In one where it is mentioned as ext3 it does not "N/A" for space utilised and total space per partition.

In another set it give all info with regard to space utilised and total space per partition by in the file system column it does not say anything but a "?".

What version of Parted? Have you tried the latest version from the
ftp site?  (ftp.gnu.org/gnu/parted)
