i think there should be a parted gui, that would be much more "user
friendly" than a command line tool, especially for some users...

i began to write one, but then it was too messy and i couldn't go on...
it needs a complete rewrite.

if somebody is interested in it - i mean somebody who wants to code :) -
we can discuss about that here.
