hey,

i tried installing progsreiserfs-0.3.0.3.tar.gz (after uninstalling my
version) and then uninstalling parted (urpme parted) and then
reinstalling (urpmi parted) but it is still giving me errors. heres what
happens:

address@hidden progsreiserfs-0.3.0.3]# parted /dev/hda6

//skipped some copyright info about parted

Using /dev/ide/host0/bus0/target0/lun0/part6
(parted) check 1
Warning: Partition 1 is 10291.579Mb, but the file system is
8242.578Mb.
Ignore/Cancel? i
No Implementation: Support for opening reiserfs file systems is not
implemented yet.
(parted) quit

and thats what happens. i had previously used resize_reiserfs to reduce
the filesystem size on /dev/hda6 by 2GB..thats why it has that info
about the size.
