Problem solved (Re: fully static build of parted?)

Apparently I had not installed the glibc-static-devel rpm for my system. Alot 
of time was spent to track down such a silly thing. I t's too bad the build 
process with Makefile's don't complain about the -static option if it is unable 
to build a static binary. Well, anyway. Enough whining, I can now build a fully 
static Parted again.
