Hi Andrew,

Here's a bug report regarding bad sectors in fat32 filesystems It's from
ages ago, it ended up getting lost in my mail, sorry about that :-/
Hope things are well.

Cheers,

Timshel

Package: parted
Version: 1.6.5-1 (not installed)
Severity: normal

I upgraded my system with a new harddrive.
On the old one were two partitions, one windows and one reiserfs.
On the win parttion there is a bad sector.

When trying to copy the windows partition to the new harddrive with
part, it detects the defect sector and prompts me for action "Cancel
Ignore Retry". But it does not matter what I select, the progamm locks
up, not reacting to any keystroke.

PS: With the 1.4 release, the programm works fine.
