Hi Andrew,

Here's a bug that was submitted to the Debian BTS some time ago. Sorry I
haven't gotten around to forwarding it earlier ...
Hope things are well for you. It would be good to catch up again
sometime... I haven't made it to a LUV meeting for ages :-(

Cheers,

Timshel

Package: parted
Version: 1.6.6-1
Severity: normal
Tags: upstream

As said in subject, when I start resize from the parted shell and just
wait while it moves the data around, I see that it repeatedly tries to
access differentt partitions (in random order, afaics). This leads to
hundreds of modprobe invocations like this one:

root 10601 0.0 0.0 1572 508 ? R 02:08 0:00 /sbin/modprobe
-k -C /etc/modules.conf /dev/scsi/host0/bus0/target0/lun0/part7

MfG,
Eduard.
