No response to my Parted problem?

I've not yet heard anything from a Parted author and I was wondering if this 
was indeed the correct list to report my kind of Parted problem.

Subject thread - Parted doesn't copy Windows drives?

It would be nice if some knowledgeable person could spare 5 mins to inform me 
if the problem I encountered in using Parted to copy a partition from one drive 
to another is indeed within the scope of the Parted program.
