Hi !
I'm running a FC 2 Distro, dual booting from my hdc:

(parted) print
Disk geometry for /dev/hdc: 0.000-57231,562 megabytes
Disk label type: msdos
Minor Start End Type Filesystem Flags
1 0,031 21838,359 primary ntfs boot
2 21838,359 57231,562 extended lba
5 21838,390 47073,273 logical ntfs
6 47073,305 52070,053 logical ext3
7 52070,084 52579,929 logical linux-swap
8 52579,960 57231,562 logical ext3

At this point I would like to resize partition number 8 and number 6, in order to provide more room to the root partition.

I installed (rpm) Parted 1.6.9 and all the other tools (reiserfs, jfs, etc) even if I didn't need them... for the sake of completeness.

At this point, even booting form a floppy, I encounter the following error:

When I try to resize number 8: No Implementation: This ext2 filesystem has a rather strange layout! Parted can't resize this (yet).

When I try to resize number 6:
Error: Filesystem has incompatible feature enabled

Bye for now, Nanni
