new e2fstools and parted not playing nice?

Hi,

I'm working on packaging gparted for Gentoo, and we've run into an issue 
where ext2/3 partitions show up as being unmoveable/resizeable 
(http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=61828#c14). One of the other 
developers thinks this is due to the newest version of the e2fstools not 
playing nice with parted-1.6.15. I'm just checking to verify that this 
is actually the problem, and if so, to see if you guys have any fixes 
planned in the near future. :)

Any confirmation or additional info on this problem that you can provide 
would be greatly appreciated.
