I think you totally misunderstood me... I never claimed that parted 
(debian or not) is or contains in any way non-free things. I think I 
misunderstood the webmaster's guideline too on the gnu.org website. 
After rereading it I don't see anything against linking to the parted 
package on the different distribution. I'll add the debian,fedora 
packages in a few mins. If you have any that you would like me to add 
just send an email with the appropriate link!
