I got the following message when using parted on an IA-64
RHEL 4 system (kernel version 2.6.9-5.EL):
# parted /dev/hdb
GNU Parted 1.6.19

Using /dev/hdb
(parted) print
You found a bug in GNU Parted. Please email a bug report to
address@hidden containing the version (1.6.19), and the
following message:
Assertion ((PedSector) PED_LE64_TO_CPU (gpt.AlternateLBA) <=
disk->dev->length -1) at disk_gpt.c:575 in function gpt_read()
failed.
Ignore/Cancel?
Information from the /proc filesystem on the target drive is attached.
